    Barbers are getting lazy

I have great fucking hair, any barber should be so lucky as to work on my hair- they should be paying me. I'd kinda like to grow it out, so I need to just get it trimmed up every so often just to keep its shape. So whenver I go to get a hair cut, every single damn time, they pull out their damn electric razor this is what happens:

"Hi, I'd like to get my hair trimmed up"
    "Ok, what number guard?"
"Um... I don't want it shaved really. Just trimmed up."
    "So like a 4?"
"Well... I don't want it any shorter than it is now. I just want it shaped up. You know, side burns shortened, stray hairs cut, that sorta thing."
    "So... a 4 1/2?"
    "I just want... I mean... I'd like a ... sure, gimme a 4 1/2"

I can get my own damn electric razor and I don't need to pay you $20 to do it! Then it's too damn short so I'm no closer to letting it grow out than I started with!

Pay more than $10 for you haircut. I've leaned that, when it comes to hair cuts, you get what you pay for.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

I hate getting hair cuts. I usually only get 2 a year at an expensive place because of bad past experiences.

What's the worst that could happen? The barber/stylist fucks up your hair? So you shave it off, big deal. There are to many metro men nowadays.

I wouldn't really want to go through the process of growing it back from being shaved.

For me it would be all of 4 weeks.

Living in the south means short hair or wet hair. I like to sweat when I workout and when I fuck. Outside of that I don't care for it.

    That is true.

I have been thinking of shaving my head and keeping it short but I don't know.

hah man I hate thinking about my hair, but I do alot....

because I like my hair short and buzzed, and I like it at a medium length with long bangs, but everything in between is a bummer, and that is the long process of sucktown when it looks bad....crycry

Just tell them you want it trimmed to keep split ends off or tell them how much to take off if when you say 'growing it out' means 6 inch long hair, mine was feet long.

I'm a real man. I use a sharpened rock and a flowing river to look at my reflection. Not really, but perhaps the problem isn't the barber... Hmm...

I know exactly what you mean. I have a think head of hair, and I would love to grow mine out, but 100% humidity with 110 degree heat index will change your mind with a fucking quickness.

Crono, stop going to the dog groomers cause it's closer you lazy bastard.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
