Depends how bad/what it is... If it's bad enough, I'll do little else but sleep and eat a little, if it's not bad I'll do everything I normally do

I usually wallow around and pity myself. I do no activity and just rest and eat and drink plenty.

I'm too poor to call off work unless I have paid sick days. Shit, last year I had sick days left and still ended up working a 10 hour shift Christmas day with a 104 degree fever. We got fucking reamed, and we were crazy short staffed too. I have no idea how I pulled that one off.
Really, I try to go about life as normal; it's extremely rare I'm sick enough that I get incapacitated.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

Yeah well, my immune system sucks really bad. I have never gone through a winter without getting sick. I get two colds per year and the flu once per year, and they always last about 3 weeks.

Pretty much like CP...I don't get sick very often at all. I usually have all or most of my sick days left over at the end of the year (like CP, fat lot of good that does you when you get hauled into to work on call or have to work holidays. Only time I got sick in recent years, I didnt have the luxury of staying home, I was on a business trip and had a presentation to make. With a fever, I might add.

I am just getting over from being sick. For a week I just had a very mild sore throat, no real cough, no runny nose. After taking a week off from working out and doing nothing, I just had to go workout. BIG FUCKING MISTAKE!!! The next day my mild sore throat became a hellish burning nightmare where a glass of water hurt like hell, I lost my voice one night, then I began coughing up green wads of shit every five minutes for 3 days straight. So for the last two weeks I have worked out once, missed two days of work, spent 40 dollars on all kinds of OTC medicines, and looked at so much porn that I don't even like it any more.
Oh and I read a little bit.

I have one of those super immune systems because I don't ever get sick. Honestly, I don't think i've been sick for probably 5 years. I do get hungover real bad, I guess that's kinda like being sick. Usually i'll just sleep and drink lots of water, which is what I would like to be doing right now but I have to work.
Can't even remember the last time I was in the gym. I suck at life.

I dont fall sick often and usually have most of my sick days unused at the end of the year. Last year i only used 2 sick days. On the downside, i tend to ignore the initial symptoms ("ahh its nothing .. it'll clear up" and it usually does). Thats not a good thing coz then i end up paying the price for a long time.
Two years ago i pretty much ignored a mild cough and chest congestion and went about work and gym as normal. That stuff eventually took over 3 weeks to clear up and almost 750ml of decongestant and kept me out of the gym for a couple of weeks! But i have slowly started to pay close attention to the slightest sniffle or swelling in my throat, for example. And if i feel it is going to blow up into something more, i clobber it with meds ASAP and get rid of it. |

I usually drink NyQuil or Bourbon and then sleep as much as possible. Unless it is somethig more severe than common cold or virus. At that point I will go to doctor and let him write a script for something.
