This is total bullshit. Not only was he seen at a bar drinking just hours before the accident, but he blamed Ambien and Phenergan for the accident.
Are you kidding me?
First off, phenergan is nothing more than an anti-nausea medication.
Secondly, if I had nearly run a police car off the road, and crashed into a police barricade, they would have carried me to jail even if Ambein was all that I had taken.
Thirdly, the police should have given him a Breathalyzer test.

I have taken Ambien for over four years, and I do not believe that someone would go driving around at night with the lights off, just because they had taken sleeping medication.
If we drink and drive, we get locked up, fined, and our drivers licence suspended. but if people like Patrick Kennedy do it, they barely get a slap on the wrist.
