"We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using Natures inexhaustible sources of energy — sun, wind and tide. ... I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that."

I think Bush was "depeached" a long time ago. Why do you think he's been putty in the hands of his masters?

The United States is shouldering a greater debt burden today than it did during the Great Depression. The total amount owed – by consumers, businesses, governments and financial institutions – totaled $34.4 trillion at the end of 2003, according to the Federal Reserve. The economy produced $11.3 trillion of output. That makes the nation's debt triple its gross domestic product. In 1933, debt was about 2 1/2 times GDP ... which put us all in soup lines. Nixon killed the gold standard in 1951 but if we were still on the gold standard then this would be far worse. |

What was it Nixon did? Wiretapping people not aligned with his goals or perspectives? Nothing near as serious as Bush's bullshit. |

Oh don't worry, I've already admitted he's officially off my Christmas list. I just dislike him for a different reason. Oh well, doesn't really matter, he's a complete failure and I hope to Hell we've got better choices in '08.
I'm hoping Hillary wins the Democratic nomination.![]()

Hillary isn't going to even be on the ballot...
Conservatives are propogating this myth in the hope that they can spam everyone so much with Hillary, that no one will even know who the other canidates are, and the Democratic Party won't even be worth considering. |
