i took a acting course in university to help me with public speaking and to satisfy an art credit
anyone ever acted on TV or film before? Some dude from work always goes to local film studio and does extra and stand in work. Well he's tring to talk me into it but I really know nothing about any of that crap. Anyone have any experience with doing shit like this?

As long as you don't lay on the "casting couch'' I would say go for it.
yes, it can be fun to be an extra but most of the time it is boring as hell.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

I am Keanu Reeves, and I am the greatest actor to ever say "Woah." in eleventy billion movies.

It's funny that you should say this. I was an extra in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. I was in the scene where the bad guy (who's actually a really nice guy in real life) gets arrested at the end of the movie.Originally Posted by Bazooka Tooth

You obviously didn't take any English courses.Originally Posted by MyK

I was in a indie film called The Stone cutter. It was long hours and no pay. It was fun to do though.
I heard Keanu is a douchebag, my cousin films alot of movies out of Chicago(he is a camera man) and filmed Hard Ball, and said he hated working with Keanu ReevesOriginally Posted by DOMS

Really?? I have it on DVD, what were you wearing in it? I wanna play I spy DOMS, lawl. Did you get any money from it?Originally Posted by DOMS

I made a short film back in cinema class. It will be an an Indie cult film, you just watch.

I was sitting just to the right of the cage. The shot was done over and over (about 10 times). The final cut only shows my arm. There's a shot from the right side of the cage (from the front). Just behind the cage you can see my arm (we were cheering and waving our arms). Oh well...Originally Posted by fufu
You don't get paid for being an extra. You just get to be in the movie and get some free food. If you clock enough hours as an extra, you qualify for SEG (Screen Extras Guild). If you clock enough time in SEG you qualify for SAG (Screen Actors Guild). That's about it.
