I recommend Quad-Sli with 4 NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX 512 MB Cards, and a BFG PhysX Card to take the load off the cpu.

I own the Toshiba sattellite, it's kinda crappy, battery doesn't last 20mins while watching a dvd. The sound no longer works, it gets hot, the touch pad always makes you loose your work (you bump it and shift back webpages), it's heavy and large, takes a long time to boot up, I'm just not very happy with basically. It did come with office though and I needed that for work and school.

That's what I got except I have the DVD/CD burner I'm telling you I've had several notebooks over the years and this has been my absolute favorite, the display quality for watching DVD's is phenomenal, just get a larger battery for it for around 100 bucks and you'll be happy. I'm about to toss in some more ram pretty soon. Only thing is that the speakers aren't very good in noisy areas so get some headphones.

Plus the comment about shared video, its not going to be 128mg of video buffer and most likely adjustable.

Funny my system doesnt page all the time with 256 in it.

Needing extra ram to keep spyware and resident apps happy is a bullshit excuse.

Try again, ive been living off my 'lack of real world experience' since the early 90's
You are not the average user!
The average user does not have their PC or laptop configured properly.
The average user has a ton of crap processes running. The average user needs 512 ram, or it is going to run like a POS just like the other 25 computers I have fixed for people this year.
I don’t give a shit what you have done for a living, I know computers, and I know fixing computers for the average user.
I know that without failure a fresh run of adaware, AVG, and spybot combined with an extra 256MB of ram satisfies 95% of people for whom I have done services for.
The other 5% actually had hardware that needed replacing.

It only lasts 45min to an hour. But if you get a 4400mAH battery for about $100 it will last 2.5 hrs.

This is the forum where I learned all about my model the 3003 which is really the 3004 with a larger hard drive and DVD burner, browse that forum the knowledge they have is superb.
