You can keep talking in circles if you want, but we both know that until you acknowledge the truth, you will always be a sad individual who is mad at the world.

I see you've taken the ForemanRule's course on How to Fake an Argument.

As for being "mad at the world", you couldn't be more wrong. Things are going great for me and they're only getting better. It's been that way for many years, but if it helps you to make up stuff, both in regards to my life and global warming, knock yourself out.

Thats what he does....give him a day or two and one of his teachers might give him a good comeback.

I'm not even on this thread and you have to get a rip in ...case and point that all you do is flame and avoid the facts

clemson is actually more intelligent than cfs3 and will debate facts....and I actually am begining to like clemson, we disagree but he will have an intelligent debate unlike cfs3.

True Story, the earth just happens to be warming naturally right after humans artificially raise CO2 levels by 40%.

That might speed the process up, but in no way is it the sole factor, and the earth didn't just "start warming up" either... I'm not saying alternative sources of fuel/power shouldn't be found/developed.

All you have to do to give them apoplectic fits is point out that the current global warming trend started at the end of the last ice age (and not just 50 years ago) and that this is not the warmest the world has ever been.

They have no way to fit such simple basic facts into their fantasy world of only man made global warming.

As do I, 100 miles on 4 oz of water is awesome, but they did say it was a gas/water hybrid too didn't they? I wonder how much of each that car was using.

Methane concentration in the atmosphere has increased 150% since 1750 and contributes a fifth of the warming effect. The balance is from halocarbons (14%) and nitrous oxide (6%).
Ozone depletion from 1979 * 2000 is estimated to have cause a negative warming equivalent to the positive effect caused by nitrous oxide release.
This post proposes a great many things. Post a link to the original study, or studies, that back these "facts" up. Of special importance is the part in blue.

That's methane by itself son. There are like 100x more pollutants that contribute to it also. Try again.

Try what again? I just asked for your sources so that I could read the studies.

Unlike you, I'm stating simple geological facts that you can get out of any school textbook, but I'll provide links to the material.

Here's an article on the cycles of ice ages. Here's an image showing how far down the ice sheets have gone into North America.

Here's a quote from the USGS about the affects of their recession (emphasis mine).

Quote:
During the Great Ice Age, or Pleistocene Epoch, which began about 2 million years ago, large portions of Canada and the Northern United States were blanketed by the continental ice sheet. ... Much of the rich soil of the Midwest is glacial in origin, and the drainage patterns of the Ohio River and the position of the Great Lakes were influenced by the ice. The effects of the glaciers can be seen in the stony soil of some areas, the hilly land surfaces dotted with lakes, the scratched and grooved bedrock surfaces, and the long, low ridges composed of sand and gravel which formed at the front of the ice sheet.

Increased rainfall in the area south of the continental ice sheet formed large lakes in Utah, Nevada, and California. Remnants of these ancient lakes still exist today as the Great Salt Lake, Pyramid Lake, Winnemucca, and many others. Ancient shorelines for these old lakes can be found along the sides of mountains, as for example, near Provo, Utah.

The tremendous size of the ice sheet further influenced paleogeography by lowering sea level about 450 feet below the present level; the water contained in the ice and snow came from the oceans. The continental shelves around our continent, as well as the other continents of the world, were above water and, as a result, some States such as Florida were much larger than they are today. The shoreline deposits and shells at the edge of the Continental Shelf, in waters to 450 feet deep, are evidence of this marked drop in sea level during the Pleistocene.
Here's an article on the temperatures of the last 65 million years (the link provides more detail). You'll notice that the highest termpurates (much higher than today) occured during the Eocene Era.

Now, where are your sources?

Nice try son, Wikipedia is not a reliable source.

Please, if you will, interpret the graph for me.

So if we interpret the columns on the graph: "mio," so that's short for min0. "ol" short for LOL. Need I go further? Nice source.

That water powered car/torch was awesome.
But does it have to be pure h2o??
I am guessing yes.
So salt water would be out of the question? Too bad.
