How do you motivate yourself to get in the gym?

How do you do it? Music? Movies? TV? Quotes? ETC?

yeah well try to get up EVERY morning at 345 to get into the gym @ 415 and wait for that goddamn cup of joe to kick in. I usually use no doz since its a purer form of cafeine. But goddamn it takes a while.

Best thing about a gym at home is that that there is less motivation needed to get one in there........because it's so near.

"My {home}gym" is rather a small low ceilinged room in the attic. The only thing that motivates me is ;doing it often enough, so that in the end one walks in there like a robot and just trains (in some form or another).

It's just plain 'routine', one forces oneself the first few weeks {or months}, then it becomes like a sort of automatic pilot.

Nick+, are there many gyms in France? I know you don't live near any, but are there many in the cities? If so, are they more like Bally's or more like Gold's Gyms?

There was a time when I actually had to motivate myself not to train on my off days.

from day one of my co-called amateur career as a competitive bodybuilder, motivation hasnt been a problem. I am always thinking that if I dont stay motivated, there's another guy working out alone in the gym somewhere who wil get that fucking pro card that i want.

I have yet to miss one day-forced layoffs are a bitch too.

I'm in the middle of nowhere in the village of the damned........ Even from here I know of two (I've heard decent) gyms , one a 30 minute drive away, another one under a rugby stadium 40 minutes away. Never been to either. Big cities got plenty of gyms, even Gold's in the bigger one's.
