    Pat Robertson Leg Pressing

    http://www.cbn.com/communitypublic/shake.asp

He claims to leg press a 1RM of 2000 pounds. Here is a video of him doing 1000 x 10. I think it's kind of funny because his ROM is severely limited and he pushes with his hands on his knees. He doesn't even remove the pins, so they are basically leg press lockouts. I just thought this was kind of funny.

OMG, what perfect technique! Pushing with hands, no regular breathing, and not taking the weight 2 inches down. This dude is more full of shit than I thought. What is really funny is how many people are at home who don't realize this is bullshit.

True Story, but at least he has more ROM in his leg press than Foreman does in his squats.

Probably..... but at 74 years old it's good to see him exercising. Of course.... many of the folks here would prefer to see him dead.

It's just comical to me how here you have a guy who is obviously serious about his exercise (albeit a bit improper in his ROM) and yet people cannot get around thier idealogical differences to at least applaud his efforts.

I hope I'm still able to Leg Press at age 74!

True Story; however, the real motivation for the whole thing is to
    make money...

And he also probably figures if he can stretch the mortality of all the
dopes who support him, he will make even MORE money!!

I just thought it was funny to see someone claiming these numbers on national TV and then putting on such a poor display. It has nothing to do with who he is. I don't like when poor exercise technique is displayed on national TV; we have enough idiots out there that don't know what they're doing without that kind of bad publicity.

He's lucky he didn't send his femurs plunging through his hips into his guts at that age.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
