    The battle: yogi VS depression

Hi you guys. Great to see you guys are doing well. Me, I'm not doing so well. I still live with the folks and trying to find a better paying job so I can find my own place. They think I don't do enough for them when I actually do and they think I don't give them any emotional apreteation. Recently, I had a fight with my folks last night and my brother today and I feel real numb. My folks had me to the point last night that I wanted to kill myself by throwing myself into traffic when I ran away from the folks last night. But I couldn't because there were 2 kids staring at me from the other side of the street. So I drank pretty heavily. And I still feel numb now. I had a chat with my pall last night and she told me somthing that I have heard time and time again. She said that I am worth somthing to everybody. Just want to let you know where I am right now:

    1) I am out of the house a lot with my friend, Vanessa and I am also working a bunch so I can be less stressed.

    2) I am going to counciling 2 nights a week which feels pretty good. I just hope I don't get adicted. lol

    3) I'm sneeking on my computer when my folks are not home to see whats up with everyone.

Well, send me good vibes and prairs, all. I totally need them.

You don't need good vibes or prayers, you need to save your money and get the fuck up out of that piece...And a spell check.

Doing my best you guys. I need to get a better paying job. Apartments are like 550 dollars a month or over here in Arizona. And it takes a million places to say no to me for a job before I can get someone to say yes.

Apartments are only $550. Wow I'm moving to Arizona. Here in LA i just looked at one for $1250, which is smaller then the one I'm currently living at.

Well, it depends how much extra you want in your apartment. I'm going to be a big tight wad and just ask for utilities in my place. I'll go to a laundry mat to wash cloths.

That wears thin fast, I would just as soon wash them in the sink by hand.

Be happy about where you live. The shittiest one bedroom apartments are $950 a month plus some utilities where I am, and I live in a suburb. In the city they are a lot more.

Why are you leaving LA and which city in Arizona are you moving to?

    Oh, my mistake.

Arizona is okay. I lived in Mesa for three years. If you're into nature, you'd really dig it. You just need to make sure you like the heat.

I also need to mention that Phoenix is a shit hole. At least it was six years ago.

Shae if it's that bad at home n i know it is hon... you could look into renting a room for now if there are places like that available that aren't dangerous. i did when i moved back to maine from vegas while i saved up for the apt. i wanted. you need to get out of there.

Don't look back ~ You're not going that way!

You could always get a roomy (share an apt) and that makes it cheaper.

You can find some that are not bad near ASU for 450+, many are in good/safe neiborhoods.

It doesnt help if you move to an apartment in the same city. Go to a big city far away.

    WTH...

Are you working and going to school full time?

I found many partime jobs that pay $8, if you work 55+ hrs per week
you can afford a $1k apartment..

And if you have no life anyway, immersing yourself in work
    is a good way to...

Make new friends, earn cash, build self esteem,
keep you busy so you dont start thinkng negative thoughts...

    Stop the drinking...
Depression doesn't get any better when you ad a depressant
    into your system...

    Free your mind! Get busy

    Apply at Sprouts markets, Henrys
    because you need to eat

And home center stores usually pay decent...
    Home Depot, Lowes

    Get out there...
And dont get a Job in Phoenix...
    Pick a nice suburb!

I happen to know there is a low income APT complex (very nice)
in east Mesa, (there is a waiting list)

But, I don't even think you need that, just start clocking hours!

You should consider getting a job at the airport. As a ramp agent you usually make about $10 an hour, are often eligible for health benefits, and flight benefits are really cool. Plus, there is ALWAYS overtime available as a ramp agent. Hell, some ramp agents make $20 an hour because they have worked for United for so many years.
