    New Taxes???

We are taxed too much now ( for what we get that is) but I would like to see some taxes that hit the dumb shits, ultra rich and slobs. Like a fat tax, if you are an obese slob you have to pay a tax for it, also if your kids are little fat piggys. If you have 8 kids from 5 women you have to pay a tax ( better yet be sterilized). If you do not have a real job yet have a 5,000,000 a year trust fund you have to pay a huge tax on it ( double what a working person pays) .....ect.

What taxes do you bitches think would help our mediocre country?

I never understood why the top tax bracket is approximately $150K and above. If you are going to have a steeply graduated progressive tax scheme, it should be graduated out beyond $1million.

If you think about it, it is pretty ridiculous that a successful small business owner making $150K/year pays the same tax rate as Bill Gates.

I'm all for that fat tax. They cost the country millions (if not billions) in health care costs every year.

they should add a $1 a liter tax to gas. the proceeds should go towards education. this would also spur innovation in alternate fuels so America could get rid of its oil addiction and we lose dependence on the arabs

For the record, if it were up to me I would downsize the government on a massive scale, and give everyone a tax cut. I would shift the "progressive" tax scheme so that someone making $10 million gets taxed 70%, someone making $150K gets taxed maybe 30%, Someone making $100K gets taxed 28%, someone making $70K gets taxed 26%...etc. I think its bullshit that someone who makes $150K pays approximately 9 times as much income tax as someone who makes $50K. The difference between someone making $50K and someone making $150K is most often work ethic, drive, determination, and intelligence. The difference between someone making $150K and $1 million or $10 million is more likely to be inheritance or family wealth.

I'm all for this. I would love nothing more than to make the OPEC worth shit. I'd travel to their countries and throw some food on the floor just so that I could watch them scramble to get it.

I would also make a tax based on the gas mileage of your car, and on cigarettes. I would also legalize marijanna and tax that very heavily.

I want to see people that are here illegally taxed about 80% of their net income.
I want to see employers that hire illegals taxed 90% of their net profits.
I want parents of children who do not make a C average or above taxed for not properly raising their kids.
I want the parents who spawn criminal children taxed for not properly raising their children which leaves the US in the situation of having to house them in jail for 20 to life for robbing me in 10 years.

I will think of more later.

Actually, someone making $160K a year could very well have a HIGHER tax rate that Gates...

$150K to $300K is the heart of the "alternative minimum tax." It is an add on tax that is totally absurd but never gets repealed.

I think there should be no taxes, and all the 100 Millionaire's+ should have to pay 99% tax.

I want to see tax collectors go home to home and inventory everything bi-annually and if you get something new you're taxed on it no matter what your financial status is, these tax collectors would have 6 armed guards with them and if you do anything wrong, bang you're paying that years taxes in blood.

Fuck freedom, nobody really cares about it anymore.

a flat income tax, say 20 - 25%, and higher sales tax, especially on 'luxury' items.
Tax the hell out of junk/fast food, tobacco, alcohol... and cell phones, just because they're really annoying

Thats what I was thinking. I flat tax would almost cut the IRS in half saving tons of money. Also taxing the smokers, servely obese, drunks since in most cases will use medicare more so than a healthy person. Also removing all the free loaders legal or illegal would help but us into the black. Its a complete crock that one person who has some insurance needs heart surgery ends up owing 30k after insurance and another person gets heart surgery and doesnt owe a cent then afterwards their on the street collecting their welfare checks and foodstamps. I know people fall on tought times and need help up but some people will leach off the system their entire life
