Thread: When will America hit 1 Billion people?

I am no expert, but there is plenty of room for 1 billion but not enough food, especially considering that if we triple is size, China etc will be growing too.

this is something all the pro lifers out there are totally ignorant of. at last count we had around 6 billion people on the planet. the way we are reproducing now it is projected we will reach 9 billion people on the planet by 2050. the earth just cannot sustain that population. humans are like a plague, a parasite, swarming over our host and taking from it until there is nothing useful left.

If the earth can't sustain it, then then population growth will stop. Will it not?

I know it sounds silly as fuck, but just listen. The US uses more natural resources than any other country to sustain a high standard of living. If Mexcians keep coming over here and having babies like popcorn, the more resources get used and they'll account for at least a quarter of it. What I'm trying to say is, only a certain amount of people can live the american dream, or in america period.

I say sooner than expected with all the illegals swimming our way.

My solution: Put birth control in the water. If women want to have kids they have to get a pill to get pregnant. Problem solved.

Chinas population is not growing at a fast rate anymore, due to its 1 child only law.

Once we conquer the world, after the slaughter there may be about 1 billion people left.

well, my wife an I only have one child (no plans for more) and I do recycle, and have been for almost 10 years now, so I guess I do my part.

agreed, that is why I said "almost never", but I know people that print almost every fricking email that they get, just makes no sense to me.
