While I work I usually have the news channels on and every single one has this Star Jones woman on. They said she was on The View (like I care) and she got kicked off. While it maybe a slow news day, isn't mindless crap like better found on the E! channel and such.

yeah, she's a ugly hog. She should have never been on tv in the first place but I think the show needed to be PC so they through in a fat black chick.

The funniest part of the whole thing is all the money she spent on getting skinny, and being skinny is what got her fired.

What got her fired was all of her lying. She claimed that she lost all her weight through diet and exercise. This turned out to be a lie as she had Gastric bypass. This is how she lost all her freakin weight.

Her test audience numbers were down across the board. They slowly tapered off as her stomach did.

Of course not, but you are apparently watching cable television "news", which are often more entertainment outlets if there isn't something major important breaking. . .obviously there must be some coverage of the flooding and the proposed alliance with GM and Nissan - if there had been more casualties in the flood-affected areas or the waters hadn't crested already in Wilkes-Barre, for example, there would have been more angles to explore with those stories.

The Jones story will likely disappear by the end of the weekend, unless she decides to file a big lawsuit or launches some new catfight episode - actually, I think there would have been much less coverage if the issue also didn't involve Barbara Walters, whose reputation is pretty untarnished.
