Drinking less water ...because it's hotter?

I'm used to chugging down like a good 20 or so "fluid ounces" in a sitting (like @ my computer or something), but now that it's hotter...I don't really get that thirsty or I have this weird bounce back feeling when I try to drink alot of water....don't get me wrong I don't like hog it down...but I just try to keep up to the 2 gallon thing (or at least try) . the most I drink a day is like 1.5 but that should be more since it's summer ...? or the opposite?

sorry i posted "liters" instead of "fluid ounces" sry guys

That's very odd, I would expect one to drink more during the summer being that you sweat so much.

If you drink 20 liters in a sitting you would probably die or at aleast royally mess up your K+/Na+ balance

Um, isn't 20 liters approximately 5.3 gallons? That's way too much

So, you'll need to drink about 200 fluid ounces to get 1.5-2 gallons of water.

Also, 20 fluid ounces in one sitting is nothing. I can generally down a half or 3/4th of a gallon in one sitting. I just carry around my jug with me so i don't have to keep track of all the water bottles and making sure i don't lose count of how many i've had throughout the day.

In the summer, you should be drinking more though. Even if you're not thirsty, it's just something you need to get done. Keep at it and eventually you will drink it like it's nothing.

I drink 1.5-2 gallons a day (which is how much you should be drinking as a general rule of thumb)

I imagine I drink around 2 gallons. It gets up to three if I'm doing yard work or something outside in the summer the whole day. I also try to drink water every time I feel hungary because most of the time your thirsty more so then actually hungary.

on that note, yeah I kinda do the same. I need to join a baseball team, I hate going to college so I think I might try out there or just do it for fun. but boxing is really going to be fun once i get into it.

i wish i had yard work, I don't even get to mow the lawn half the time. this blows, I need something more active than a gym @ the moment for summer.

I said I hate going to college, not because I already am going...but that i always get in trouble or something. I haven't went for about a semster, and miss busting my ass on paper work...or miss hating it or something. but for the most part I get into it and I do something wrong, like *bad* exploitable bad...I hate it. I generally assume people want to be stupid their whole life and blame kids for all their problems. let alone do their job. I hate them.

I couldn't have said it better
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
