    Invary, Buffett never touched tech stocks, he did just fine. If you dont know or like a certain sector, avoid it - no problemo.

    After having my money in an ING savings account for a lonnnggg time. decided to get into some mutual funds (tradiotional IRA), yesterday actually. Watching your money grow is addicting. my dad is a stock broker on the floor of the NYSE, but he's letting me learn on my own for the most part. he has given me lots of pointers, as well as 3 or 4 books on investing, saving, etc. I love this shit, im so glad I am a finance major.
