Had a problem in the gym. (workout related)

Ok so yesterday as i was doing legs and i was on my 3rd set of squats and on my 5 rep going to positive failure i got this bad sharp pain run up the back of my neck and into the left side of my brain. Then started pulsing kinda like a headache, but wasnt bad like a headache. But it was a bad pulsing pain. So i stopped on those and took a break for about 10-15 min till it went away. Which it didnt, but was very small pain.

So today, on chest incline. On my 2nd set and on 5th rep going to positive failure it happen again. And to this time 11:28pm i can still feel the throbbing pain in the back of my neck and left side of brain. I went to gym around 9:45pm so about 2 hours and still feeling it.

And btw yes i do inhale going down, then exhale when pushing up. vise versa if pulling is the weigh.

    any ideas?

Not near a couple hundred bucks. Sports doctors are usually pretty in-expensive.

Not really. A lot of sports doctors are pretty open to the public and fairly cheap ( even doing favors ) for people who don't have insurance. At least my old sports doctor did. Just my experience. You can spend "200" dollars and worry about buying your gym membership next month or about your brain exploding.

Def. Also though I get the same kind of burning sensation some times in the back of my head. Like if I my move my head to fast or in a weird way. It burns in the back of my brain and up my neck for 20-30 sec badly, and fades completely after 10 minutes.

i had the exact same problems as u describe, but it went away after two weeks or so, the pain was unbearable as u described. It might have been me, not exhaling properly.

exhaling inproper might be the problem. Cause you know when you are lifint heavy weights and you are on pos failure with no spot. Its kinda hard to control your breathing.

For some reason i tend to hold my breath sometimes lifting alot of weight. It as if it makes me stronger or something, but im trying to exhale more when pushing a heavy weight or pulling. It seems as its only during a push movement.
