    Who are your favorite comedians

    1. Louis Black - I love Louis's cynical and angry style of humor. It is a lot like my own in a way.

    2. Bill Hicks - Bill was an extremely tormented and angry comedian. He pioneered much of modern comedy by infusing politics with dick jokes to reach a new level of comedy genius.

    3. Mitch Headberg - Mitch was a funny person by complete accident. We all know people like Mitch who basically just saw the world differently, and made his own observations that would make you laugh your ass off and not know why.

    4. Richard Pryor - Richard was the first to do the black people do this white people do that routine, which has been emulated to death. But, you can’t take it away from him that he invented it, and he was a funny mother fucker.

    5. George Carlin - I loved George's ability to step back and really see how dumb some of the shit we do really is. George Carlin's comedy actually contains a lot of wisdom until he turned ultra liberal in his later days.

My friends at IM, and my friends here in Hawaii and the few scattered about the United States who need to get their asses back out here to visit me.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Dane Cook uses ever dirty cliche there is. Right when you think he's going to say something witty and you start enjoying what he's saying, he takes it back to 8th grade with some childish filth. You're 16, I understand why you think he's funny.

Now don't get me wrong, I like raunchy comedy, but Dane Cook is just lame.

And he jacks his material from other comedians. Louis CK sued him for that

    Damn Forgot about Dave Chapelle.

Dane Cook seems to me to be a bigger hype than he is. I mean, I find myself 'wanting' to laugh to him rather than laughing uncontrollably. To me, thats not real funny.

Oh, yeah, those blue collar guys all need to die. Especially that git r done jerkoff. How that became an all time expression is beyond me.

I was so happy when his movie flopped. Happy isnt the word, I felt fantastic when it flopped, cuz one, hes not funny and two, I predicted another spot-on flop.
