Wait til it rains well, you'll be back. I had dish 2 years ago, I won't ever go back. I wouldn't consider Philly that stormy of a place, and I can remember a good amount of nights I wasn't able to watch shit because of the weather.
I have officially abandoned my allegience to COX communications and am now a full-fledged subscriber to the DISH NETWORK!!
I get MORE HD channels for less money, PLUS, I get ALL my programming on every TV in the house (Cox would only provide service for 1 TV. Additional TV would cost additional fees).
200 hours of DVR capability. 60 hrs of HDVR capability.
I could go on and on.
No, I don't work for the DISH network. No, I don't have Stock in them (I probably should though). This is simply a public service announcement for you folks out there with Cable TV packages. Consider Dish. You'll get far more bang for your buck.
NEVER write a check with your mouth that you can't cash with your ASS!!

I pay more for cable, but now watching tv isn't dependent on the weather.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to IPTV... it's going to blow satellite & cable away.
I had it in AZ for 2 years and it was great....not a problem ever.Originally Posted by Dale Mabry

I've heard that a lot, too. Strange: for some people the rain totally destroys the signal while others aren't affected.Originally Posted by ForemanRules
Well we have great weather here so the rain thing is nothing like the midwest or east coast. At the time there was one huge storm and the dish was f-ed for an hour or two, but that happened only once or twice a year.Originally Posted by busyLivin
