I could easily right a book about those two words, but why bother anymore? Most people are idiots and will never get it anyway.

Prejudice - An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.

Examples:

- A woman is in an elevator alone, a black man enters, she grabs her purse.
- A young boy with a Mohawk and nose ring walks by three elderly people, after he passes, one gentleman says, "Kids are no good any more."
- Jewish people are greedy.

Racist - The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. In other words, discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Dave Chapelle has a great out look on racism. It's apart of our culture. You may not be a racist, and you may not hate, but because of your skin color you may have advantages due to it that you can't help.

How about (hypothetically),I am looking for a flat mate and an asian applies and because every asian I have ever met has been an annoying geek, i dismiss his application for a person of my own race, soley on previous experiences with asians. Am I racist? or am I making an educated decision.

p.s, I'm not very racist and have several asian friends.

If I told you, a train station was going to be blown up tommorrow and you had to choose if you thought the guilty person was either an irish man or a middle eastern man, who would you choose?

I think the key word in shiznits definition of racist is 'belief'. A lot of people get facts and beliefs mixed up, when race is involved. Some people might call me a racist if I said that whites are more intelligent than blacks, but they are, they score higher on intelligence tests (fact!). Just as blacks are faster than whites, are better basketball players etc. Its partly due to genes partly due to environment. Thats life.

-Old people are usually idiots.
