Lame IMO. We don't need to make a fucking movie about it. Hollywood just trying to cash in on horrible experience, not suprising.

Portraying the NYPD and all the rescue personnel of 9/11 as the heroes that they were isn't distasteful in my opinion.

    Absolutely terrific idea. Good timing.

I think the NYPD, FDNY, and all the other un-sung heros deserve the recognition. Plus, Nick Cage is great!

I hate to say this but a whole mess of people cashed in on 911.

A lot of people who were not even there claimed they were.

I can tell you stories of Fire fighters Police and agents trying to get freebies in the name of 911 but in respect of those who perished in the towers I won't.

For some reason I fell asleep with the T.V on Sept. 10 2001, in the middle of the night a little before 3 a.m I woke up for no reason and as I started to fall back to sleep I heard the news interrupt the infomercial that was on. I rolled over to see what it was and saw where the first plane had hit. After the second hit I started wondering if this was Armegedon, were we being invaded? I called everyone I knew on the mainland to see if there had been other strange things happening, I kept looking outside at the sky to see if any planes were diving into Honolulu, I watched as four F-15's from Hickham Airforce Base Climbed over the cityscape later that morning, I felt very small and fragile. From that night I didn't sleep for about 3 day's after.

See I don't need a movie to remind me of that day, it's still fresh in my mind...
especially since we have this war in Iraq to remind us daily of it...

I just saw the late show. There was know single-plane theory. Some of the rescue crews rushing into the first tower were just unaware that there was another plane that had crashed into the other tower.

Definately worth the money, although I was expecting more. Seemed very rushed.

Part of the time I was thinkin to myself wow, shit like this happened/happens in Iraq on a regular basis with innocent people.

Well I think it should be clarified that there is a distinct difference between legitmate businesses whose business increased as a result of 9/11 and those unscrupulous individuals who sought to steal from the relief funds.

I happen to personally know the owner and proprietor of Firehouse_Treasures. (He himself is a retired Firefighter)

He was completely overwhelmed with business after the attacks and, as a result, was able to make some very significant donations and contributions to the families of fallen firefighters.

And as a result, was able to use 1% of his income to give to the families of dead firefighters, whilist acquiring the other 99% of wealth to afford his new mansion/yacht.
