    My Brother is a Hypocrite

My older brother is a hypocrite. He's a born again dumb ass. Maybe it's just me being a guy, but I cannot talk on the phone for any longer than 5 minutes. The whole time he's yapping about Jesus and how my kids and I are all gonna burn in the lake of fire (HELL). Meanwhile, he's divorced with a woman he had 1 kid with. He's in the divorce process (1 whole year of marriage) with another woman who just had their kid 4 months ago (yeah, he go ther pregnant while they were dating). And even though the divorce is not yet final, he's just had another kid with another woman, who he's dating!! That's 3 kids with 3 women, but I'm going to hell. I've been married for almost 10 years! I guess the bible agrees that it's O.K. to have more kids with different women as long as you go to church on Sunday.

Hypocrite sounds like a good word... Sounds like he's far from perfect, but maybe there is some truth to what he's saying? That's a hard conversation to have. Maybe he's doing it out of love... He certainly needs to get his order first however...
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless those who bless me as I gladly accept their blessings, and curse those who curse me all the while protecting me for any evils. In Christ name, amen...

He's just using his religion as a safety harness that he thinks will catch him before he falls to this hell he believes in, thing is he sees you as a latch for his safety harness, but he thinks you'd be a stronger latch for his harness if you believed as well. Thats what religion is for, weak, scared individuals who can't find solidity in themselves so they start grabbing for anything and thats how they get hooked on the "opiate of the masses"....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Nah.... Going to church won't make you holy any more than going to KFC will make you an X-tra crispy chicken wing.
