Thread: Suspect admits killing JonBenet Ramsey

You know... it's a good illustration of how influental the press can be. All the while the John and Patsy Ramsey have claimed their innocense in JonBenet's murder yet, the media was able to continuosly cast a shadow of doubt and suspicion over them. I too, suspected they were involved at one point.

Come to find out they were telling the truth. Too bad Patsy Ramsey Died before she could see her daughter's killer arrested.

Who's Jon Benet Ramsey? Is he that French guy that head butted another soccer player? Or was that guy Italian?

Damn! I remember seeing fucking tabloids about this constantly back in like...'93.

Well.... I suppose it could all be an elaborate scheme by the suspect to get himself out of the Thai Prison he was being held in.

Aparently this has been in the works for a couple months now while authorities validated information this guy was disclosing that only the killer would know.

He admitted on camera 'I loved Jon bennet. Her death was an accident.' Dosent confirm he killed her, but seems at least he knows much more.

They asked him if is innocent and he said: 'No'

As cameras focused on him and lenses clicked, he confessed to the slaying.
"I was with JonBenet when she died," Karr said to reporters. "Her death was an accident."
When asked whether he was innocent of her slaying, Karr said, "No."
Karr didn't stop there. He told The Associated Press that he loved the 6-year-old and was sorry about what had happened to her.
"I am so very sorry for what happened to JonBenet," he said. "It's very important for me that everyone knows that I love her very much, that her death was unintentional, that it was an accident."
A Thailand police officer also told the AP that Karr had admitted to drugging and having sex with the beauty queen before accidentally killing her.
Karr's ex-wife, however, immediately came to his defense.
Laura Karr said to ABC News affiliate KGO-TV in San Francisco that she was with her former husband in Alabama, where they lived at the time of JonBenet's killing, and that she did not believe he was involved in the slaying.
Karr, she said, was fascinated with the Ramsey investigation long before his arrest and spent a lot of time studying her case, as well as the case of Polly Klaas, the 12-year-old girl who was abducted from her Petaluma, Calif., home and slain in 1993.
Could Karr have falsely confessed to JonBenet's killing?
It's possible, some experts say. Karr could have had such an obsession with JonBenet that he could have falsely confessed.
"Think about the 'BTK' Killer [Dennis Rader, who was arrested last year and is serving life in prison for serial killings in Wichita, Kan., between 1974 and 1991]. He wasn't caught killing anyone. He was caught trying to get attention, baiting law enforcement," said Jack Levin, professor and director of the Brudnick Center on Conflict and Violence at Northeastern University in Boston.
"This guy, John Karr, could have been trying to get attention, get publicity, and he got way more than he bargained for. However, I have to believe investigators have more on him than a confession."

OK, I just needed more proof.

Yet another suspected pervert was busted yesterday in the playground of pedophiles - Bangkok.

The alleged killer, John Mark Karr, who is facing kiddie porn charges in the U.S., was arrested in the city boasting a billion-dollar red-light industry, much of it specializing in kiddie sex.

Bangkok has garnered a notorious reputation for attracting tourists seeking underaged sex and as a favorite hideout for perverts on the lam.

The child-sex trade is so rampant in Bangkok that tour groups have been organized to bring in foreigners.

Child advocacy groups fighting to end the exploitation of children in Thailand have been thwarted by lax laws, bribe-taking officials and poverty that prompts parents to sell their kids into the sex industry.

Last month, the fight to beef up child sex laws in Thailand was dealt a setback when the country's King Bhumibol Adulyadej pardoned convicted pedophile Bradley Pendragon.

Pendragon, an Australian, had been convicted of raping two young girls in a Bangkok hotel room in 1993.

In 2004, another Australian, Robert Scobel, was busted for allegedly being involved in human trafficking for a Bangkok child-sex ring.

Scobel ran a tourism company called Spice Trade Travel that catered to men with a penchant for young boys.

In 2001, American Eric Franklin Rosser, 49, the former keyboard player for rocker John Mellencamp, was busted in Bangkok on child-pornography charges. At the time, Rosser was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List and facing an indictment in Indiana for distributing videotapes of himself having sex with an 11-year-old girl.

Suwat quoted Karr as saying he tried to kidnap JonBenet for a $118,000 ransom but that his plan went awry and he strangled her. Patsy Ramsey reported finding a ransom note in the house demanding $118,000 for her daughter.

That doesn't sound like a fucking accident to me.

Can anyone post the video of them brining him in. This guy is a total tool!

For some reason I am also not convinced.

it's very sad and disturbing but I still don't think we have the full story, I also still think the parents were involved. I am willing to bet the DNA won't match and this dude is some fucking nutjob who was convinced by Thai and American authorites that was guilty.
