It only hurts if you thing the feeling of a cat scraping it's claws superficially into your flesh hurts, I have one done at some surfers house, turns out he wasn't as experienced as he should have been and went so deep my tattoo is also a scarification yuo can see it rise from my skin, kind of like a Braille tat

You made a thread about suicide but you are worried about a tattoo hurting? At least we know that you are going to be safe and alive.

Bands are so common and trendy. It doesnt make you look cool or tough just one of the herd.

Think of something that really has a meaning for you and get that. I waited about 5 years before something in my life happened and the tattoo just seemed the perfect fit.

The pain is nothing, but i also went after being up for 2 days and i was getting fairly bitchy.

A tribal arm-band tattoo is about the least original thing you could possibly get

Take my advice, and don't get a tatoo until you are a little older. I am very glad I never got one, because I detest how un-original most people's tatoos are. I might get one later, but like someone posted above, it will have to mean something to me first. Tribal tatoos are pretty ghey!

Yes they do hurt a little but that's all part of it. It's like taking a needle and scratching a design into your skin.

The tribal band is for people who just want one for the sake of having one. Tell me what deep meaning it has to you. Nothing.

It is no different then the thousands of girls who get hearts and fairies. My guy told me if he does one more fairy or band he's going to shoot himself.

Im saving up for a rather nasty looking mask on my delt, he's completley psyched about doing it.

Totally agree... both my new tattoos are cover ups of older shittier less original pieces.

As for cost my calf cost me about $1500

i wouldn't get a tattoo somewhere visable(forearms, etc.) because i'd get one where you can cover it up(on shoulder, back, upper arm, etc.) so if don't want someone to know that you have one, then you don't have to show it.

i think i'm going to wait on the tattoo for a few years and by then i'd really know what i'd want. so this b-day i already asked my mom if she'd get me a ironmaglab's stack. i think i'm going to try it out and see what the results will become of it. she said its alot cheaper than buying a stack of bsn products cause thats like 110-130$ lol. so i'm going to stop usiang BSN products(atleast for awhile) and go w/ ironmaglabs supplements and see how the results will come and if i like em i'll buy more :P

This is very true. Unless you wait until you're older (25 in my opinion), no matter what tattoo you get and what you think it means, it'll end up saying one thing and one thing only, "I'm a tool."

Thailand is a crazy cool place. Did you get it done there via the bamboo sticks method they use?

If you do get any sort of tattoo do take your time on what you want and where you want it, like most have already said go for something that means something to you and not one of these pick, lick n stick tattoos i have a couple of friends who like a lot of people got tattoos when they were far too young and are now either getting them covered with another tattoo or even worse, having laser treatment to have them removed, best of luck on what you choose....
