Ok, here are a few tips:
Go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ and apply for a pin number. Fill out your fafsa, and when you get your pin number, electronically sign your fafsa so it can be processed.

Fafsa is a Stafford loan, so the interest rate is broken into subsidized, and unsubsidized. Depending on your income, you might qualify for a mostly subsidized loan which means you don't incur interest on the loan. Apply for the Stafford before you use any of those online loan companies, because most of them are criminals, and can't wait to loan you some money so they can fuck you in the ass with 20% interest rates.

Also google the Sallie May loan, and the Perkins loan. Both are governmentally subsidized programs that off reasonable interest rates to young adults.

What if their tuition is over $4,500 per year? Also tuition assistance runs out from time to time. For reserves using your G.I. Bill is basically a waste unless you've been on EAD for 36months or more. Also everyone knows that the National Guard isn't 1 weekend a month 2 weeks a year anymore. It's 6months prior deployment training and then full 12 months in Iraq. You get home and a few months later you get called back for another 6-12 months. You will never be able complete any school because you won't be there for the full course.

Don't listen to those recruiter's most of them have never been deployed nor had to leave their hometown.

True story. Marine recruiters lied thier asses off to try and get me to sign-up. Never ever listen to a recruiter. Talk to someone who is in the reserves now that you trust to not feed you a line of shit. The reserves might not be all that bad if you like killing people and getting shot at. Just know what you are getting yourself into, bro.
