    Did you ever scream?

I see a lot of people screaming in movies but in real life people seem to get hurt but act differently. What was the last time you screamed? Did you ever scream?

That is because they are attention whores. There is no reason to scream during a movie other than to be an obnoxious turd.

When you scream at the movies it isn't a plan... you just get the shit scared out of you. The first time I was just a kid and the head was rolling out of the bottom of the boat in Jaws. The second was this old horror movie Don't look in the basement. I was like 13 and had been allowed to date, which was only a technicality... I wasn't really allowed to but Donna was older ( no she wasn't my date you pervs) and her parents wanted her to have more company then 1 cute boy I guess. I was really shy and trust me attention was the last thing i wanted.

I believe you Littlewing, but I have gone to movies where I know for a fact that the part these people were screaming at wasn't that scary. Not to mention, the screamers are usually the loud talkers too...go figure.

Another time I screamed my 2nd husband was ocean fishing using eels for bait. He was casting the thing n I was standing behind him. It went right in the front of my coat. I didn't know I was so scared of eels. I just stood with my eyes shut screaming "get it off me, get it off me" .

Oh yea n another time my son had decided the bathtub was a good place to keep a snake. I had no idea it was in there n I started the water n it came speeding up out of the drain. I like snakes and will catch them for him when he's scared, which i really don't like to do but I don't want him to hate them. Snakes are bad when they are a surprise.

Screaming at the movies is fun. I've never done it, but I've watched those that have, and they seem to be having a lot of fun.

That reminds me of a story...

I was working at the AMC theater in Burbank, California when I was 17. The movie Lisa has just come out. During one particular showing, everyone, and I mean everyone, was screaming. From 12 year old girls to a 80 year old men. They were screaming and having a lot of fun. The problem was thet, as a group, they were so loud that they could be heard in the adjoining movies. Right through the sound dampening walls and over the sound of the next movie.

    Enter Clark.

Clark was an 18 year old good ol' boy. He stood about 6'3" and was broad as hell at the shoulders. He talked quietly, and really didn't say much. The manager asked Clark to go in and do something.

I happened to be in the back of the theater, nominally doing a theater check, but really just enjoying watching the people, when Clark walked in. He walked down to the front of the theater, turned around, and roared, "Please be quite!" As one, 650 people shut the hell up. All of them, every one. It was amazing to watch.

After about a minute or two later, they realized that they could yell if they wanted to, so they did. Just not as loudly as before.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Oh baby I scream all the time when the mood is right!
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I was not saying that I saw people screaming at the theater watching movies, I was saying that I often see people in the movies screaming, characters in the movie. In real life people that break a leg or get shot dont scream.

Oh, lawl sorry Vieope. That is because the film industry is retarded. Saving Private Ryan or Schindler's List were realistic movies in my opinion.
In Saving Private Ryan, the guy had his arm blown off, he just turned around picked it up and ran away. I have seen footage of people in car accidents where the people were in shock and that is more true to life. My friend had a terrible accident on his ATV at the river one day.
After hitting a sand dune wrong he landed in a way that drive the foot peddle through his eye and ripped off half of his face. It was the most grotesque thing I had ever seen in person. He was in shock, so he never even complained about being in pain. He just sat there looking at us with one eyeball and half his face ripped off.

The screaming thing is mostly for the movies. When the adrenaline kicks in, 95% of people run or pick up a weapon to fight with. I doubt anyone would just sit there and scream like a retard.
