waking up, wtf

you think having 4 f'ing alarm clocks would be enough to wake me up at 8:00 in the mornings so I am not late to class or miss it completely.

Nope. This is the second day in a row this has happened, getting up in the past has never been a problem.

So by saying goodbye last night, you were just saying a 12 hour goodbye?

No it's the Methadose & Diazepam stack I take nightly, I dream incredible dreams and then have to come back into this ordinary and plain world. Sometimes I sleep through an alarm and my brain just reconfigures the buzz buzz buzz into something in my dream like a heart monitor or bomb countdown and I sleep thru it looking for where the sound is coming from...Sometimes I'm a lion in a Zoo and it's snowing and the door to my cage is opening and it has a warning alarm, then I dash out and the snow is 3 ft deep then I build a set of steps from snow cubes like from an igloo and I escape but the buzz is still following me and I realize it's the alarm for an escaped animal so I get frightened and panic then I wake up and realize the alarm is going off to wake me....

Wow, and people wonder why they call our generation a bunch of lazy fucks. My alarm goes off at 4:15 every morning and it doesn't matter how drunk I got the night before, my ass gets up. I'm guessing you guys put your alarm clocks right by your head, or in reaching distance. The key is to put the alarm clock like 15 feet away so you actually have to get up to turn it off. I'm willing to bet you guys hear it and just hit the damn snooze not even realizing you do it.

Can't even remember the last time I was in the gym. I suck at life.

Every generation has called every generation ahead of them Lazy althoguh the true story is that the future generation is resting up before they get to cleaning up the fuck-ups of the previous generations....

And I keep my alarm by the bed because I read a study that says it's better for your body, especially your heart, to wake up slowly and not jump out of bed immediately.

Yes the article said it was like starting your car and then revving the engine to peak redline rpm, you want to stretch and let your joints get ready plus your heart rate doesn't want to shoot up that quickly it's just added stress to your body...

Junior in college; would love to take classes later but just didn't work into my schedule this semester.

I got up at 5:00am every day this summer and it wasn't a problem. I love to get up early, shower, eat breakfast, etc. It just has not been working; I keep the alarm clock across the room and have 4 going off at like 15 minute intervals but for some reason this week I have not gotten up on time once.

my guess is if you were getting a blowjob when the alarm went off you'd all wake up no problem.

Mmm.......incidentally, that happend to me when the helpful man in the white coat fed me ketamine in my evening steak. It was quite unnerving when I realised that the alarm was going off and I was at home in bed, with work beconning. Alas, it was very welcoming when i woke up and realised that i was back on my straw floor, and that I was infact, still a Lion.

Phew.....

Its hard to type with these claws.
