Death and Taxes - the Budget Graph

I don't know how many of you have heard of "Death and Taxes," the chart which details government spending graphically and rather specifically.

    It may be viewed here:
    http://www.thebudgetgraph.com/
(enter, then click "About Death and Taxes" then scroll all the way to the bottom.. it's the first picture)

    OR, view directly here:

The 2007 (current) chart was just released recently -- the last one I believe was a 2004 chart.

I find this sort of thing facsinating... what are everyone's thoughts on this?

One thing that I find ignorant in our gov. is the ATF. Three things that are legal in our country need a whole squad of people to regulate it?....now they lump more responsibilities on them like explosives and counter-terrorism. When all they are is a mutant of DEA/FBI, merge the ATF into the 2 since Alcohol and tobacco are drugs and the FBI can handle guns and explosives, then you can kill the funding for the administrative offices of it and spend that money on more worthwhile shit (Education). Ok then we have an Army and Marines, no difference, merge, less admin needed. Navy Airbases/Airforce/Aircraft Carriers merge both less admin again more funds for other shit.

They spend 1.15 Bil. on Renewable Energy, 13 Bil. on cleaning up and investigating environmental devastation from using fossil fuels for the last 100+ years, Einstein found the Photon in 1905 people, but you think his greatest find was helping to
create Nuclear power, all fools all of ya's!
    Quote me on that

They spend 2.5 bil on unemployment, our solar contractors can't hire enough guys right now to get all the jobs they have in queue done, give them even a portion of that and they'd hire half the states unemployed, hell at times all they need is someone to pre-strip wires, bolt them to racks, cut rack material, simple things even a Kenwood could do...

Look at all of the large +green %'s in the Leg. and Judicial Branches.....

Now look right next to it the -62% for Safe/Drugfree Schools, and the other red -'s and even TERMINATED's -30% Higher Education!!!!!!!

Even the god damn Postal Service is +91%, I don't even mail letters anymore, I use email and if I ship I use UPS cause insurance is easier you just add it to the price you don't have to fill out form BS*002020848 and then Submit Docket (&*^%888

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
