    first that's not 220 ....second i think that's guy 1 rep maximum is maximum 180 lbs ....that happened for me once when i haven't got a spotter so i pushed the bar to the front and laid it on my knees while crunching my upper body and stood up and hold the barbell th way you do shrugs then to the floor...i think he fcked himself the way he tried to get rid of the bar..why would somebody post a video like that ...:s

    Horrible spot... If you give someone a lift off you need to help them bring it to a rest point. It should be very smooth...

    You can roll 315lbs. (90% of my max) down to your lower abs - as long as you don't waste time thinking... sit up, and deadlift it off without too much trouble, collars on.

    BTW - I got tired of being a dumbass and bought a bench with safety catches.
