Hawaiin vacation
Before the academy starts and in order to get my shit collected, I'm taking off for a while....
...right after jury duty on monday
Always wanted to go to hawaii. I've got the time, the money, and the desire to do something a bit crazy and just leave behind everything for a bit. A new environment and faces for a few days will help me recharge. Travel has always been therapeutic for me.
What are the good islands to see/visit? I'm up for scuba diving (shedding my 7mil suit for a rashguard is something i've wanted to do since i got my license oh-so-long ago), hiking, and hitting the club scene.
So, for those of you who've been, which are the best islands and areas?

You can't go wrong with any of the Hawaiin islands.
If you like quiet and somewhat laid back (at least it used to be), go to Kauai. If you want more action, there's always Maui or Oahu. Maniclion can fill you in on Oahu. And Hawaii (the big island) is also good, although things are more spread out there, ie more driving required.

Take a Cruise...
You will get to spend 1-2 days on all the islands
All sorts of things to do, already set up by the cruise

Do the outer island hiking, sightseeing, diving stuff first, then come to Waikiki and get your groove on, just don't come the night before or 3 days during and after the 1st and 15th of the month, the military "Dudes" swarm the clubs those nights and it's not fun when the clubs are filled to max capacity with hundreds of meat heads and no women. You see the women who are worth sticking your dick into (not whores) know this time of the month is not a good time as well and stay away, show up like between the 5th - 13th and 19th-29th unless the 1st/15th falls on a Sat/Sunday then they get paid the friday before...most of the clubs are worth showing up to, they all have women, you just have to be there when they are, club hop the first couple nights and get the feel of which one you like better and then hang around the one or 3 that you like most and the women will show up, really hot hawaiian women or even a tourist looking to get freaky on her little tropical excursion....

Oh the clubs by the Univerity (on University Ave.) have the cute little college girls if thats what you're looking for....otherwise the clubs range from beach party hole in the wall to sophisticated dress code types...
