    Go back to school Kenwood.

None of the P-to-P applications are illegal. The material, if you choose to download it, is illegally obtained if it is copyrighted. If you download a song or movie that is copyrighted, you are committing a crime, and might be served a court order from the IRAA.

With that being said, I burn the shit out of limewire, I love it. If you want a more secure downloading program that doesn;t have as much stuff, but protects you from the RIAA PM me or BigDyl, and we will give you the link.

Torrents are the best way in my opinion...

Theres torrentpond.com and typhoon that allows you to search several engines at once so you get more hits on stuff you're looking for.

is it true that they run programs on your computer, even when you think that it is closed, causing your computer to run slower?

Yes, they trick non tech savvy folks because when you click the x in the top right corner, as you would with any program, it just hides it in the tool bar while it keeps running. To really close it you have to click file and then shut down or close whatever the program is, and make sure it's not in the tasks by hitting control alt delete and checking the processes running...

I already knew that, so if it is closed it doesnt run any other shit on your computer? So what are they gaining if it is a free program to the people, they have absolutely no gain? that sounds pretty fishy...

sorry to bump this, but I still didn't choose a program (Kelju, the one you gave me didn't work, I sent you a couple of PMs)

    Two questions:
    1. If you download one of these programs, and then remove it, will it be like you never downloded it? because my sister downloaded bearshare, and those fuckers tried to change my browser, I don't know what else they did, but I removed the program.

    2. I was looking at the limewire website, and it ask you if you will download copyrighted files, when you dowload it does it tell you wich files are copyrighted and wich ones are not?

    thanks
