The US wasn't fighting Canada, it was fighting the British who owned Canada at the time. It was a US-British war. If a war was fought now, Canada wouldn't last more than a week. The Canadian population inhabits a small percentage of the land and lacks a deep industrial and agricultural base.

why would Canada need an army, what for? You guys pumps billions into your army, so if we ever get attacked, your tax dollars are there to defend us.

China is on the brink of an economic explosion the likes they have never known. They wouldn't risk the financial impact of losing us as a customer.

Chinese Alaska? Not a chance. We'd obliterate any threat to that oil reserve.

Chinese California? Not likely. We could probably defend it with minimal military resources. The gangs of L.A would do most of the dirty work once they learned China was looking to invade their turf. The Crips, bloods, 18th street, and asians would all form their own coalition force to repel that threat

Cuba? Yea.... whatever. I think we've already demonstrated our position with countries who seek to place ballestic missles on that over-sized island. Besides... China may be comunist but they're not stupid enough to think they can nuke Miami and not expect us to completely obliterate them in retaliation.
