Clinton Pins Blame For 9/11 On Former President Taft

Former president Clinton pinned the blame for 9/11 today squarely on former president William Howard Taft.

WASHINGTON – After a week of angrily defending his administration’s efforts to combat Islamic terrorism, former US President Bill Clinton made conciliatory overtures today in an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, insisting that neither he or sitting President Bush were responsible for not capturing or killing Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden prior to 9/11, instead putting the blame for the mistake entirely on 27th president William H. Taft.

“I may have lost my temper a bit lately, and for that I apologize,” a visibly composed Clinton told the CNN anchor on his show ‘The Situation Room.’ “It’s just that I know very strongly that 9/11 isn’t my fault. For that matter, it’s not Bush’s fault either. We both tried everything we could to catch Bin Laden. No, the real person to blame here is former president William H. Taft. His soft foreign policy set into motion the events of September 11th long before Bush or I was even born. Seriously, look it up. That guy Taft was a total pacifist.”
Clinton, who left office in January 2001, said he and Bush both told the Central Intelligence Agency to try to kill bin Laden prior to 9/11, which was a lot more than he could say for "that wussy Taft."
“Taft had every opportunity to end America’s isolationist policies prior to World War I,” said Clinton to Blitzer. “He could have sent troops to Saudi Arabia in 1909 to try to capture or kill Bin Laden’s grandparents, but did he? No. We could have had a 92-year head-start on Al-Qaeda, but Taft didn’t try. He did not try!”
Clinton as well as President Bush have been particularly irked recently by accusations that they might be at least somehow partly responsible for 9/11, given that they were the heads of state nearest to the date of the attack.
Clinton and Bush aides have called such claims “preposterous and unpatriotic.”

Well I see them as the same thing as the Christians so I have no problem if they kill eachother.....but the sad part is they will do as they always do and kill more innocent and defenseless than eachother.
