    In your opinoin......

.......what movie has the greatest character development!

I am looking for movies that show extensive charater development/change. for example in AMerican psycho, you see Bateman go from a person struggling to supress his homicidal tendencies to him chasing prostitutes through a codo building naked and brandishing a chainsaw! Or, brad pitts character in 12 monkeys, or edward norton in fight club!!!

    so what do you suggest??

Almost any movie Edward Norton played in.

American History X - Norton's character goes from being a good kid to an evil Nazi bastard, then back to a reasonable adult who tries to teach his little brother of the evil in the life they lived.
Primal Fear - Norton's character is a confused timid young man who then turns out to have multiple personality disorder, who then turns out to be an evil fuck who never had a timid side to begin with.
Fight Club - No explanation needed.

    Edward Norton f'ing rocks.

I dont know what to say, I own all those movies, they are good! but I am talking about real development!

like look at scarface, in the first scene he is a FOB immigrant who has nothing, in the last scene he is a cokedup drug lord chasing people through his mansion with a tommy gun! thats development!

in a histroy of violence all there is are revelations of his gangstar past !! IMO!

Malibu's most wanted. The story of a rich white kid's struggles dealing with the fact that he's not a black rapper. Oscar worthy IMO.
