True Story, I always see skinny rednecks driving their f 350's with a 20 foot lift kid, revving their engines and acting hard. It's a different story when they get out though.

Vehicles are status symbols. You have to take your personality and then factor in the vehicle which yields an image. The image speaks much about the person. either that person is "cool" "lame" "trying to hard" "rich" "mid-life crisis" "small dick" whatever.

Not everyone sees this, and most importantly, most people don’t fucking care. I could care less.

Waste of gas and maybe 20% needed them more than once every 6 months.

Massive losses like these mean cuts on every level, not just assembly line workers and janitors, so these most guarded, educated and researched individuals could soon be unemployed just like the blue collar workers. When a company tanks, no one gives a shit if you have a degree from one of the top schools in your field, because money is all that drives public companies. When all the shareholders start dumping their stocks in an attempt to cut their losses, that PhD. will be worth less than a plummeting stock ticket.
