    Whose getting a Wii?

I know I am. It looks like its gonna be the best next gen console. The interactivity of the whole thing is the most appealing to me and the lower price. What do yall think?

    Innovative, yes. Graphically speaking no.

    Visuals aren't everything though.

I'm buying the WII for one reason right now: Zelda.

I agree that the graphics aren't on the level of PS3 or 360, but IMO graphics are way over hyped. And its funny how Nintendos gonna be the maker to profit the most from the next gen consoles.

I wanna buy the Wii for Madden 2007 and NCAA 2007(Which I guess isn't coming out at launch) because they look so awesome to play with the nunchuck. And shooting games look really fun to, you gotta point with the remote thing. Gonna be awesome.

Hmph. I want to get the new Zelda too.

Id have to wait to see how this new system keeps up with the competition. My PS2 and PC is sufficient for my needs as of now. Id have to kick my own ass to pay the PS3 price new, even though its games call my attention more than zelda's does.

I liked the last Zelda, but it was kinda too kiddie-like. I HATED Majoras Mask, but Ocarina of Time was just right. Out of all of them, I kinda didnt like the length of the game...didnt really want to play it all over again like Final Fantasy games.

I'll probably buy a PS3 at some point but even that is pushing it. I bought a PS2 twice and I only own 7 games for it, none of which I play...

I agree that the Wii will be the most innovative within Nintendo as a whole, but as far as saying it's going to be the profit maker for next gen consoles is a stretch, especially if you're just referring to consoles. The 360 and PS3 are basically computers that you can play games on with 20gb and up internal hard drives. I could be wrong, but I don't think Wii's coming with an internal hard drive at all. That's good for prices, but not for versatility, especially if you have to buy an external drive later on. Personally, I don't think Wii will ever match the console sales of PS3 and 360 simply due to it's lack of power in comparison, but it will be fun to play.

So the wii is sort of like the 'Dale' of consoles then?

Yes, in the sense that when you get it, you think it's the biggest and the best, but then you get home and take it out of it's package and it's not nearly as big as it was hyped up to be but you play with it anyway. Hey, maybe bigger isn't always better. Then 2 weeks later it burns when you urinate, and you have what looks like a rash, but you dismiss it and go on. The rash comes and goes, but you get progressively sicker over the next year, until you go see a doctor and find out that your white blood cell count is down almost 35% because you have the AIDS. Then you die.
