I dont know if you watch mythbusters but this was one of the coolest things I ever saw them doing. It is an experiment based on one of Tesla inventions and he claimed that it destroyed his house. It is a machine that produces earthquakes. It works like this, a lot of things can increase energy if you hit it at the right moment, if you match the frequency of the material the energy becomes so great that it breaks, like when glass breaks with a high frequency sound. The material vibrates long enough then it gets destroyed but can that work in something like a house?
So they found the right motor where they could adjust the frequency and made a scale model of Tesla house. Nothing really happened, they tried other materials but didnt notice any difference. Then they took it to a large steel bridge, it is all made of the same steel so it should vibrate at the same frequency. Remember this is a small machine, only weights a feel pounds and the only thing it does is to hit something in different speeds. They hooked it up to the ground started adjusting the frequency and all of the sudden the whole damn bridge started shaking. Not like an earthquake but they could feel it moving hundreds of feet away from the machine. They described it like it was similar to a heavy truck moving through the bridge and you could see they water in a plastic cup shaking inside of it.

They do some pretty cool stuff on that program.
When they hooked that thing up to a bridge and actually got a reading I almost flipped. Tesla was a freaking genius!
Blowing up that cement truck was the best episode ever. I love that stuff.![]()
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???
