A dead body can continue to move for several days, sometimes they fart too...thats what my mortician uncle told me...he said that there can still be some nerve responses or muscle reflexes long after death, plus decomp can cause the body to move as gasses build up, also gas in the intestines will escape the same way they did while alive...one day he was embalming one body and another behind him started a slow hiss like air coming out of a bike tire then the most pungent odor you could ever imagine overwhelmed him and he almost passed out....he says of all the shit he's seen that was the worst experience he's had, except for babies and small children of course... enough anyway. I got a call one Sunday morning about a black lady that they could not get awake. She obviously had been dead since late Friday.
