I take out student loans. They are awesome because while I am a full time student, I don't need to pay interest.
Wondering how hard it is to do, and if all the hype from that Matthew Lesko guy in the question mark suit is true![]()

I would like to note that there are two kinds of Stafford loans: subsidized and unsubsidized. My parents made too much money when I took out my student loan, so mine is unsubsidized. I have been incurring interest the whole time I have been in school. Spud has a subsidized loan that has no interest as long as he is a full time student.

I wonder if it would be worth to buy the book to find out...or just think he's scamming..and getting rich off people...buying the book looking to find out if it works...

I dont remember how much. But i would suggest that you check so that you can prepare yourself as you need to start paying back 6 months after your course ends or if you quit the course.
The U.S. government does not currently provide grants for starting or expanding a small business. However, the government does offer plenty of free help in planning how to start or improve your business and in securing low-interest SBA-backed small business loans. [Many States DO offer small business grants to individuals.]
The Gov does however have lots of grant programs so if you are smart enouh to write a grant and convince them their is a need for your study you might get some money.
My wife writes lots of grants and hits on a few now and then but they are from charitable organizations and such and it is usually for only 2 grand or so to buy material she needs.
well there are some to help buy a house...ect
I dont mean student loans, I mean all that "free" money the government gives out...
I am looking to buy a place, only make $9 an hour at the moment, but I live in Iowa so real estate is cheap here...Eastern Iowa to be exact, city of about 22,000....
anyways I can get a very nice place for $150,000
I cant afford that now but if there are grants out there I could get itd be cool...I dont know anything about grants, but would listen if someone had some experiences with them
I just filled out the paper work for a 3500$ stafford loani wish i could of got more

The Government gives Tax Credits and Rebates and shit for stuff like if you buy energy efficient appliances
This link is just for Energy related credits and rebates it's by State and there's a Fed link too. http://www.dsireusa.org/
Stuff like this:
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 established tax credits for energy efficiency improvements in the building envelope of existing homes and for the purchase of high-efficiency heating, cooling, and water heating equipment. These improvements and/or equipment must be placed in service from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2007 and must serve a dwelling in the United States owned and used by the tax payer as a primary residence. The maximum amount of homeowner credit for all improvements combined is $500 during the two year period of the tax credit.

not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear

but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
I've used a VA loan but I also serve in the military .

In Hawaii they give you $5,000 back if you spend more than $14,400 or so on a Solar Electric system...then the Feds give you $2,000 back so you get around half the cost back...then the next year you can add $14,400 more worth of solar panels and get half back again...so they pay for half of your system it pays itself off in a few years and then you have free electricity for 10,15, even 20 years maybe...solar panels last forever like 25-30 years...
No electric bill unless you use more than your solar system can handle but then it will be very minimal....it's a win, win situation...
