Hopefully they raise it for the upper 10%, and lower it for the bottom 50%...

The bottom 50% pays no federal income tax. I don't see how they could lower it.

They will raise taxes, they will go after the rich, but it won't work and everyone will get fucked. I think they need to raise taxes, but don't want them to. IMO, cut welfare and use that money to fund the war.

How about we cut welfare, cut our losses in the never ending shit hole that is the Middle East and bring our troops back and stop wasting money there.

But if that fantasy were to happen, why not take the fantasy all the way an expel the 20 million illegals in the country too?

As simplistic as that solution sounds, it would be like pulling out of a woman before you came. All that would happen is that there would be a messy situation and neither party would be satisfied. You need to finish the job you started. And satisfactorily or you are just asking for more trouble

Then let's really finish it. Let's cut loose the military to actually hunt down and kill all that we deem to be a threat. Door to door searches. Stop and detain anyone that we see fit. Flood the fucking place with soldiers. Interrogate anyone that we think has information. And not the limp-wristed, bleeding heart shit we're doing now.

Initially, I just meant Iraq, but I like your idea better.
