    Live in Any US City

If you could live in any major US city or local suburbs of one, which city would it be?

Disregard the city closest to your house, we are going on vacation experience or other prior experiences here.

What's there to explain about Honolulu?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I have never seen a large city, much less a big city. When I graduate, I want to live in a big city like NYC or LA with mass transit, because I am sick of owning a car. I would walk or ride a motorcycle everywhere I go.

I have to agree with manic. Of the places I've visited, for big cities I'd choose Honolulu or San Diego.

Yeah, I didnt really factor in th beach and weather when I was thinking about this. I kind of meant the personality of the residents and the city itself, thats why outside of DC, I picked Boston, Chicago, and Cleveland.

San Diego probably....I havent been there, but that is one city I have heard nothing...or hardly anything bad about whatsoever...

besides cost of living, which IF I could (afford)live there, I probably would....

    Really?
You have to see the city, it just may change your mind.

Although if you do move to NYC you may never have to own a car.
If you live in Mahatten and work there, there are tons of ways to get to work. Bus, Train and taxis.

There wasn't a game going on at wrigley field at the time of the shot.

Checked a few other stadiums, they place where a game was going on was Yankee stadium

Oh alright, well good luck w/ the school next year, I don't think I could last at a job I hated. Nice place you got set up there btw, season tickets?

I'm not sure about the newer one w/ drew barrymore, but the old Fever Pitch movie, the one based in England about soccer, the guy overhauls his stuff so that he can buy a flat a few blocks down from the stadium and watch every game.

Live with Mino in NY so I could kick his ass at MLB everyday.

Cards would win the series every year if this would happen.

Out of all the cities I've visited, I'd pick San Francisco and it's not even close.

I've been to SF twice and didn't notice any gays. Plenty of homeless and hippies though.

I hate big cities. Especially NY. To many people, no parking, expensive and the people are mean because of what I just explained. Boston is beatiful but again, no parking and expensive, not to mention cold.

So true, I guess you guys are right about NYC being mean.

When I go on vacation to another city and strangers say Hi....I look at them and expect something after that, like asking me for money, or trying to get fresh with me or try to scam me.

Then I realize these people are just friendly.

I was just up there for the NY Marathon. I got a 115$ parking ticket my first 3 hours there. I have to go back up there on Monday for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Parking or just owning a car is stressful here in NYC, you can even enjoy driving a car.....how fast can one go in a traffic jam.

Insurance is too high, you can drive for hours and not find parking, they hunt you down for a ticket, they scratch your car to death here......it sucks.
