am I the only guy who doesn't want to get my news from a guy who looks like he should be a general manager at Express For Men?

On top of that, Keith Olbermann is an elitist piece of shit. Tonight he was making fun of Clay Aiken, and he said something like "and now he returns to the D list, with Katie Couric."

I am not a big fan of Ann Coulter either, although she is more intelligent than Olbermann.

I really doubt that. The intelligence part. I'd rather watch KO than O'Reilly or listen to Rush.

I hate anything CNN just because it is boring and it sucks.

I listen to AM radio at work, because the guy with the XM went to another job. When I am at home I listen to NPR on my roommate’s Sirus Radio. Between the lefty NPR and the righty AM stations I get a pretty balanced coverage.

Remember, you will never get balanced reporting if you get all of your news from the same source. I don’t care what anybody in here says, everyone has an agenda.

Well anyway let's get back to the topic on hand.

I would watch Katie Couric over this guy anyday, I mean the CBS evening news is no laughing matter...it was a staple of my fathers news regime, as was the evening and late night local news, the newspaper, U.S.News & World Report, Time Magazine and the occassional Enquirer just incase he wasn't getting enough balance of honest news and BS news... Me I get all my news from Fox it's the only way to get honest no-holds barred propaganda...

He sounds like he's just a bit envious that she got a broadcast ancor spot on a major news network, I mean you need cable to get CNN, CBS is broadcast everywhere, you can pick it up in Hoboville, USA on an old black and white tv with a coat hanger for an antennae... anybody can get a cable news show, hell even Bill Maher has his own on HBO

Fox has admitted publicly to going off his medication when he knows he will be seen while talking about Parkinsons. Nice spin though.

Common knowledge When was he faking it again? I missed that part. Oh you mean the part where he didn't take his meds to show what the disease can turn you into to? Oh yea, that part.

You know what else is funny? The fact that you can make a thread bashing a somewhat mild, liberal newscaster, and yet defend a conservative man who not only mocked, but imitated a man with Parkinson's.

    Seriously clemson, it's absolutely hilarious!

I'm watching some of the Olbermann videos on youtube now, he really takes a shit on O'Reilly a couple times, and it's good. Like the whole Malmedy incident, he caught Bill in the lie a long with the rest of America and destroys him.

I have never listened to limbaugh's show. Not once. I do know that this particular part got a lot of press, and you would have to be pretty well read on it to know that Fox has done that. He has gone off his meds in front of Congress, and he was off his meds in that commercial. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I missed the part where it is evil to point out truth. Or perhaps we should all pretend that Fox walks around like that all day every day. To my knowledge, Limbaugh didn't say he was faking it, but that he was exaggerating it, which could be inferred from the fact that he deliberately went off his meds.

In fact, I am even in favor of stem cell research, which is what that commercial was about.

Whats more hilarious is that you will defend a piece of shit like Olbermann by pointing to another piece of shit like Limbaugh. That seems to be a very popular liberal tactic. "We may be corrupt, immoral, and worthless, but at least we are better than X." Typically "X" is "Bush," but you have showed an ability to adapt. So congradu-fucking-lations. Keith Olbermann is one small notch above a flamming piece of shit like Rush Limbaugh. . You haver really made a statement there.

Forgive my anger, but I must have missed the memo where you can defend any lack of character by pointing to someone worse. Perhaps Dahmer or Bundy can point to the Green river killer and proclaim relative innocence.

"Anyone who knows the disease well would regard his movement as classic severe Parkinson's disease," said Elaine Richman, a neuroscientist in Baltimore who co-wrote "Parkinson's Disease and the Family." "Any other interpretation is misinformed." - WashingtonPost

Not only did he insinuate that it was a "performance", but Rush went on to do a little "mock parkinson's dance" that was caught on video.

But that's cool clemson, I'll only bring up your hypocrisy really quick. Defending him a few posts ago and calling him a POS is not only shameless, but a popular republican tactic. You turn your back on someone you propped up before, and then compare and bash liberals for bringing up one of your former, now shamed, idols.

You don't like Olbermann as a newscaster b/c he's an aggressive liberal. The thing is, he makes his money off of people like you. He's makes all his money off of O'Reilly, Rivera, and Limbaugh. He has an editorial like show where he spends his time catching that trifecta in lies and scandals. Does he lie? No. Does he change his point of view? No. Does he find or make his own stories? No. His job is to find conservative newscasters that feed bullshit and to call them out.

Now forgive my anger, but I'm not Decker, I'm not going to wheen my way around bullshit.

You are such a fucking idiot it is amazing.

Why don't you cite ONE SINGLE POST out of my now 1,567 that says anything positive about Rush Limbaugh??? PLEASE, I will send you a check for $1,000. Why would you even think Limbaugh was a "former, now shamed, idol???????"

I don't associate myself with people like that. But I'm glad your extraordinary hate for all things conservative can come out and show itself. You spew so much bullshit I am surprised you don't choke on it.

I forgot that one! You know, the graphic personal character attacks because you can't vouch for you or your own? My description wasn't aimed at Rush himself, Bill's there, Rivera and his 'stache makes many appearances also. Let's not forget Bush, Cheney, Foley, etc.

Now to sink to your level of arguing, get your head out of your ass and start reading what I'm posting.

Rivera? Who the fuck is talking abour Heraldo Rivera (sp?)???

More of defending lack of character by pointing to other lack of character. Wow, defending Olbermann by pointing to the king of trash TV. Thats hilarious. Why don't you make one single intelligent commentary on the subject? Or you could stick to simply pointing out people who are worse than Olbermann.

Let me see if I can preempt you. People who are worse than Olbermann:
    Rivera
    Limbaugh
    Saddam
    Bin Ladden
    Hitler
    Stalin
    Pol Pott (sp?)
    Dahmer
    Bundy
    Scott Peterson
    Strom Thurmond
    Susan Smith
    OJ Simpson
    K Fed
    Brittney Spears
    R Kelley
    Nancy Grace
    Ted Kennedy
    Whoever is responsible for Darfur
That guy who is president of Iran whose name is impossible to pronounce or remember
The artist formerly known as Prince
    ...etc., etc., etc.

Now can you please say something substantive on the matter?

On a side note, tonight after Olbermann's commentary comparing Iraq to the Vietnam war, his "number one story" was about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, with several witty and intelligent jokes such as "is he standing on an apple crate in that picture," and "did they visit uranus on their honeymoon," and "the spectators and hostages at the ceremony..." and "was he standing on baby Suri in that picture" and "is scientology even recognized in Italy" and "Was he standing on the pre-nup in that picture."

Man, that is some fucking quality journalism.
