What is your usual Thanksgiving Dinner?

Do you have the same meal each Thanksgiving? What is your fav??

    Mine is

    A HUGE Roasted Turkey
    Dressing
    Mashed Potatoes
    Corn
Gravy - I make it every year, although no one really likes it (we're not gravy people)
Home made, from scratch, yeast rolls
    pumpkin pie and
    lemon meringue (my husbands request)
    Usually it's pecan pie

Full meal at noon: Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, green beans, gravy. Followed by beer and a nap in front of the TV while football is on.

Full meal at 6:00: Same as above, but swap beer for wine.

9:00: Fall into a food induced coma.

My favorite meal is, in fact, thanksgiving dinner. Well, the bird, the stuffing and the gravy. I can eat it for weeks and never ever get tired of it.

And we are talking the best gravy too. The kind that gives cholesterol..cholesterol. I dont care about fucking calories and dieting when this shit is in the kitchen. Sometimes you have to rise above your morals...

Besides being healthy...how much fat & protein is in the turkey (not including gravy or stuffing, just the bird)?

The gravy really isn't that bad as far as fat is concerned. I use only a small amount of the rendered fat from the bird drippings to make it. Otherwise it's stock, veggies, giblets (and these are pulled out), seasoning and flour. And, it freaking ROCKS!

I can't wait! Only 27 hours of cooking and slaving then TOUCHDOWN!

IAB, there was a lot of talk about this. Apparently 3 of the biggest cable companies still haven't included the NFL network to their package. I would hate to be one of those poor slobs. I have Direct TV, so all is good in da hood!

Hmm... well we use ALL of the fat the bird drips in the pan.

I wont eat turkey without the gravy, so lots are made.

Strangely, we don't eat Turkey anymore for thanksgiving... we prefer steak over chicken (on special occations), and in this case we have a $130 prime rib for 5 people. Easily going to gain 3 pounds in the next few days.. I REFUSE to go back to college until I eat the leftovers in entirety. man on a mission

Turkey, rice, gravy, peas w/ mayo, buttered steamed carrots, corn on the cob, sushi, sashimi, tonkatsu sauce for my turkey & rice, maybe some frozen mochi treats, Ice cream and Apple Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake, wine, beer, cocktails or POG...

So we're having my first T-giving dinner at work today, some kind of kalua turkey where they roast it in the ground just like the kalua pig, man is it juicy...chowmein noodles with cabbage, celery, onions and carrots stir fried...sweet taters in brown sugar...french bread rolls with butter...lots of desserts...they also have roast beef, ham, roast turkey, chicken katsu, mac salad, potato salad, chili, rice, and tons of other stuff we always have feasts in Hawaii...
