Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart/Super Walmart, Gamespot, EB Games, Staples, etc.


Going for a 250$ laptop at Best Buy.. trying to find these secret wii's i keep hearing about.

I am planing on waking up in 2.5 hours at 12:30 and going to Best Buy to pick up the LCD TV Ive been talking about in the extremely lengthy thread Bone crusher has been helping me on.
I am going to park out side in my jeep with a blanket and set a timer for every 15 min. and pass out. As soon as I see 10 people in line I am going out to set up a folding chair outside the door with my Zune and Some coffee and watch movies till 3:30, which is when they hand out the "tickets" for the stuff in the store.
I heard last year the line went around to the back out the store, and its a big plaza.

Best Buy is opening at 3:30? What % off?

Just an update
I went at 1:20 expecting to be one of the first 50 or so there, I was about # 300, The tickets for the TV's I wanted were handed out and gone way before they got to me.
So I waited for three and a half hour freezing my ass off afraid that BigDyl might find me for absolutely no reason...Or so I thought
I asked everyone who worked at best buy if there was any way I could get one of those TVs all there answers were the same, 'Nope you need a ticket', until I asked one guy in the TV department, he was like, 'Oh, I think we have a couple of those in our warehouse, if you want to pay 50 bucks for delivery you can have it on monday', If I was almost happy enough to kiss him, so I kiss the the girl working next to him... She grabbed my butt.
All in all It was a good night, wait morning......

I went to Walmart with my brother this morning around midnight to stand in line for The DVD players....There was a HUGE crowd and they had to call the cops people were getting crazy! People were yelling at eachother,no one wanted to wait in line...I told my brother if they start rushing in to rush in wid me....When the cops started showing up people were yellin at the cops it was an experience.............
After we ate Turkey me and my bro were lookin at the Ads,planning our strategy,we was gonna go Best buy but on their ads it said like 48 per store and 1 per household So I was thinking we had better chance at walmart.....

It was a bitch, my feet are killing me.
I havent slept in 2 days, and I have to go back to work tomorrow at 8!!!

Yeah, it's rediculous... There's a big shopping center like 5 minutes from my house that has a Best Buy, Circuit City, and various other stores including a fairly large mall... I heard someone got stabbed there on Friday... Also, coming home from Thanksgiving dinner with the family at 9:30 PM, there was already a line going from Best Buy to Old Navy (the next adjacent store), and it didn't open til what, 5 or 6 AM??? I think I'd rather pay a higher price than waste 10 hours of my time depending on how much I'd be saving.

There is only like 2-3 deals worth waiting that long for:

500-600 dollar laptop for 250
or
2000 dollar toshiba 56 inch DLP tv for 800.


other than that... you'll wait 15 hours to save 30-40 bucks on a camera.

There were some decent deals on some LCD HDTV's as well. like $300-800 off depending on which TV and which store.

I need an HDTV for my 360 and Gears of War .

Would you recommend getting a 720p or 1080i HDTV for games, and why? Don't say 1080p because there's no way I can afford it! .
