I didn't like it either the first time I saw it, but it kinda grew on me.

I'm definitely a fan of this movie. I hope the sequel does it justice.

Neither did I. I thought it was cheesy and unrealistic. Like the shootout in front of the house...great, another movie where the bad guys have horrible aim. Then the ending in the court room kept me saying "yeah right" too.

Ugh, sometimes I hate how I cant get caught up in the suspension of disbelief.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think it was bad. In fact, the best part was the cat getting shot and..sadly, William Dafoe's character.

The movie wasn't meant to be realistic. It was meant to have style and class.

    Style it had!

Great freakin' flick, and yes it had style... I loved everything about it. I too have been awaiting the sequel for years. It is funny because I really like the irish folk sounding music at the beginning of the movie so I was looking for the soundtrack a while back. Couldn't find it anywhere. Emailed the dude who made the song and he sent me the single. Really cool guy and great composer.

Define style?? To define style would be to dishonor its very meaning. Style can not be defined, it can only be experienced..haha...its like Zen man!!

I guess you mean style by its 'aura.'

This movie's flow reminded me of the movie Snatch. Another non-blockbusting favorite that I didnt care for.

yeah man...i agree with Snatch sucking, save the few funny scenes with BP as he banters on. Overall, thumbsdown on that one. I feel BDS had a little better flow than that, but I can see your connection.

Style is the manner in which something is done, it is a pretty broad term.
