We had one hell of an ice storm and lost power for a couple weeks in some places my house was only out for about 5 days.It is snowing again outside and this has been a damn wild winter here.We have people from all over the country staying in town to repair damage from the ice storm and clean up fallen trees.
I hate to bitch about the snow but damn.Anyone else having similar weather?

Nope about 6 inches of snow accumulated from lake effect snow fall. One ice storm about .5" of ice fell.

Nothing started till after the New Year, it was above freezing here, been chilly lately about 12 degrees Fahrenheit plus the wind.

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

Where's that cel/far converter?
It's actually warming up today, -9 celsius out there now.

So I guess the canal has finally frozen over enough to skate on up there?

From Pretoria bridge to Pigs Island is opened now and from Pigs Island to Dows lake this weekend (if that makes sense to you) if not, yes but only partially.
Winterlude starts this weekend.

I dont need to hear crying about winter, here in Colorado we have had snow for going on at least two months, record snowfall, freezing cold everyday, and the high of this week is suppose to be maybe 12 degrees.

I hate winter

We were actually whining because there was no snow. Unusual temps for December hovering in the 50's. We've now got our snow and bitter cold (for this area!) Starting Friday, the temps will fall below zero overnight until Tuesday. Zombul..where are you at? My bf's brother is in Wichita and they shut down one day because of heavy snowfall.

I'm tired of this cold weather. Where the hell is my global warming?

Thats actually funny because it can still be freezing cold and you still see alot of people either wearing their sandals or shorts.

My legs and feet rarely ever get cold. I wear shorts and birkenstocks in 30 degree whether and me feet stay warm the entire time.
