My Mom wants a small dumbbell set to workout with. Nothing more then 5lbs. What do you think of these? Any better deals out there?

Cute. They look like dumbells.. only smaller.

Truthfully, She'll probably like them just fine.

Hey, how's the weather back in Philly? I'm headed back there this weekend for my parent's 50th anniversary. Looks like I'm gonna have to pack some pretty heavy sweaters.

The blue one looks like the rubber coated on my Belgian Malinois prances around the house with, next she gets giant Pterodactyl bone to do her strength train with...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Skeeeeeeerew that. I hate cold. I moved out here to Las Vegas to get away from cold. Over the weekend it didn't even get up into the 50's. Too goddamn cold. I was in a shooting match on Saturday morning. They had to cancel the whold damn thing because us desert rats couldn't take the cold. I want my 120 in the shade.

Absolutely love it. I'm originally from the Philly area and can't imagine ever moving back. A few too many dumbass Californians have moved in and are screwing the place up a bit, but not so bad that I'm ready to move.

How about a set of these:

They come 6, 15, 32 and 64 ounces, more or less. About $6 for the whole set.

Seriously, the set you linked looks pretty darn good.

Maybe 130 in each hand? Somewhere in that ballpark.
