    Cookies questions?!?!

I think it has to do with cookies in Firefox 2.0

Ever since I have upgraded to 2.0, Most of the threads on IM don't update to read after I have viewed them. So if I click on it it doesn't go to the newest post available.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

By default, Firefox doesn't block any cookies.

However, you can go Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> (under cookies) Exceptions.

Type in 'ironmagazineforums.com' and click 'Allow'. That will explicitly allow cookies from this site.

I have the same problem, but I don't think it has to do with cookies. It started for me after Rob updated the site.

So you want them to update after you read them? But you read them, what is this update that you want?
    You read them.

Yes I do too. I think it was when Rob updated the boards he said something about it at one time....

not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts

Yeah it isn't that, after I view a thread it still shows that I haven't read it. Usually there is an arrow button to the left of the title that takes you to the newest post. Even after I view it, it isn't acknowledging that I have viewed it, so when there are new posts in that thread, I have to read threads from when I logged on even though I may have already read them at the beginning of the day.

Jeez I hope that makes sense.

There's nothing wrong with the website or your computer. It's all you.

    Shut it!

I left Firefox 1.5 on my laptop and it is fine. It is only when I use my
PC which I upgraded to FF 2.0 that this occurs.

Have you checked your PC-to-chair adapter?

I think what may be happening is when re-starting FF the session manager may be taking him back to where his last session had started?????

No I don't close my window.

I view the thread then click new posts, it still shows that I haven't viewed it. there is the arrow beside it and it is in bold format. Sometimes it recognizes that I have viewed the thread but most of the time it isn't.
