Question A question for you actual Wii players...

If this controller makes a person have to get up and move, does it get tiring? I mean, I am sure its cool, but sometimes I want to just sit back and relax while playing a game after a long day at work. Seems as if the Wii system wont allow that.

Just wondered if the Wii's strength will actually end up being annoying after a while.

You can actually sit back and relax and accomplish the same results with slight flicks of your wrist. It's not nearly as dramatic as standing up and swinging like a madman but it's a lot less physically demanding.

I was also interested in if you turn off the movements. I assume you cant since theres no extra buttons to replace the movements.

I was reading a electronic gaming monthly mag and they comapred the Wii to the PS3 for I think, the 3rd time(?) The Wii won by a landslide. They made good notes about even though PS3 has awesome graphics, the game lineup sucks right now. Not to mention that fucking joke of a price. Resistence Fall of Man would be the only game Id want, but I hate shooters with just a controller (I like a mouse...or a Wii controller?)

The Wii though...what games does it have? Call of Duty 3 might be good, Red Steel got bad player reviews, but Zelda was supposedly breaking new grounds. Once again though, after those 3 games, whats left for the Wii?

With Gears of War making a good impact...I might have to go with the 360 too. I would need a mouse though.

You don't have to stand up to play the Wii. You just have to know what the controller wants for what you're doing. People get nuts with it though.
My little brother got a Wii and I don't care for it much. Wii Sports is fun while you're figuring it out, but after that you want to play a real game. Zelda is good though. That's the reason to get a Wii.
What really disappointed me was Excite Truck. I haven't played it, but just seeing the pictures made me not want to. I thought it was going to be a more realistic game that requires some skill, but nooo...Boosters, Turning the Truck in the Air(its not a motorcycle), being waaay up in the air. Lame.

Much rather have a 360. Gears of War, MotoGP 06, Halo 3(Future), Fable 2... And many other games I don't know of. =) Can't really go wrong with a 360. And you don't have to worry so much about your retarded friends breaking it.

Yes shooting games are better with a Mouse and Keyboard. That's why I wouldn't buy Call of Duty for a console. However I think Halo plays really well and it definitely fits with a controller. I haven't played GoW but I imagine it works great with a controller too.

Don't tell fat kids they can play sitting down. It'll end childhood obesity. This thing rocks.

So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Joke of a price?? They lose over $200 dollars per system. And blu ray players cost between 800-1200 dollars for a standard player.

Plus if you built a gaming pc with similar specs to a ps3 it would be well over $1000.
