The training montage could could have been a few minutes longer, and the fight scenes would be better if they were more like the others. Otherwise it was a pretty decent film, I'd recommend it to anybody who's a Rocky fan.

Rocky Balboa (Rocky VI)
I just got back from seeing Rocky Balboa, and I have one word...AWESOME!
I am a huge Rocky fan so I would have liked the movie regardless, but I was very impressed with the story line and surprisingly Sly's acting. I felt that he over played Rocky in V, but he did an exceptional job in this flick.
I can't wait for the DVD box set with all 6 movies!
(I know there are other threads but I wanted to start my own.)

I heard from a buddy of mine, it is a great movie. He said there is much more storyline and 20 minutes or so of fighting. He also said the guy Sly was fighting looked pretty soft.

He did look soft, but I think that was intentional. The training shouldve been longer. The fight shouldve been done differently. Some elements of the story couldve been totally removed and the plot wouldnt had skipped a beat.

Rocky Balboa was a great movie, I would of king of liked to see him pull through in the last movie of the series though. Even though him winning wasn't what the movie was about.
