    All in one Dumbbells

Anyone have these? The ones that you can set 5lbs to 50lbs. I know bowflex makes them. Are they any good. Much cheaper and more efficient then a whole rack full of DB's.

Powerblocks are the best, by far. They go clear up to 105lbs. They are pricey however.

Very nice. Not to bad in price. 600$ for 5-90lbs. I'm gonna try to find them second hand on Ebay or Craigslist. Thanks.

Yep those are it. They are pretty good. Besdies you know you need more than 50's. IMO that would be a waste of money.

It is and it isnt. If you fuck yourself up and find yourself rehabilitizing yourself(was that 3 times I said that?), then youll want those lighter weights.

Dont forget the light ones are great for rotator work, lunges, raises etc.

Well if you get the heavier ones in this case, then the lighter ones come along as well.

You mean, if your MAX weighted DBs is say..150, then you get 150 down to 5lbs?

Right here baby, all in one thats all I need...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

That's the set I have, but let me give you some advice. Go ahead and spend the extra $$$ now and get the add-ons that take the set up to 125 lbs. You'll definitely want the extra weight eventually and it's much less expensinve to get them all at once.
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???

yea, but they aren't as pricey as buying a full set of DBs from 10-100.

That's true, but I couldn't see a gym buying one of those to replace their whole dumbell arsenal.

Defintely not, considering only one person can use the powerblock at a time.

The DB bars are good, but you cant bench with 45's on there. I stack a few 25's on there, but it gets difficult whenever you get up there in weight.

Ha, now that would be funny to see. A guy flat DB pressing with 45's on the bars.

not a big chain gym, true.

But, a lot of smaller studios and some of the performance facilities like Velocity, have power blocks because they take up so little space and leave room for the other equipment.
